RAMAA - THE SAVIOUR is up for release and Tanushree Dutta, the leading lady of the film, is all excited with the announcement. However, doesn't she regret the fact that the film is releasing after a delay of a couple of years? One can well expect her to be frustrated with the turn of events since when she had signed the film, her career was pretty much seeing an upswing.
"No, I was never frustrated because I had a strong faith that the film would release one day", she says with a straight face, "I cannot tell you how I was so sure but then I knew that there would be light at the end of the tunnel. I am a born optimist and always believe that things happen for good."
In fact Tanushree has an interesting incident to narrate about the time when she actually signed the film.
"I remember giving an interview out once and saying that I feel like doing an action film. And there I was getting this film in my kitty just two months down the line. The same had happened with my interest in doing a horror film as well because soon after I thought about it, I got ROKKK. So you know, this way I have been pretty fortunate", gleams
Tanushree who was readily came on board with the film even as many other actresses stayed away from it due to heavy duty stunts involved.
"Honestly, I didn't take even five minutes to say yes to the film. I wanted to be a part of that and was so convinced that I would enjoy the entire experience", she adds.
Now one looks forward to audience sharing a similar sentiment as well.
