Ram Gopal Varma, controversies and quotable quotes go together. Despite the fact that this is pretty much expected regardless of whether a film of his is round the corner, the fact remains that they always make for an interesting read. Notwithstanding his oft heard verbal squabbles with Karan Johar and Sanjay Leela Bhansali being his latest target (for GUZAARISH), Ramu believes that what he does isn't something which is alien to mankind.

Extending his logic, Ramu says that what he says or does fetches far more visibility and attention since his films arrive far more frequently.
"I make films quite rapidly. My RANN came early this year and now I have got RAKHT CHARITRA rolling which is not just arriving in two parts but also Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions. So what happens is that by the time you are finished writing nasty things about me, I would be ready with something new that would make you come after me all over again", laughs Ramu who has never shied away from self-depreciating humour.
Continuing in the same vein, he goes on to add, "Now look at RAAVAN. Everybody and his maid and driver spoke quite a few negative things about the film as well as Mani Ratnam. But then for how long would you continue to read and write about it. You will stop after a while. Then Mani would be coming after three years and all would be forgotten. No one would remember the negative things they wrote about him and his films. Same is never the case with me since my films release far more frequently."
