Tanushree Dutta's action adventure film RAMA - THE SAVIOUR is up for release and while the promos are already on air, the young woman can't help but get nostalgic about the time that she spent during the making of the film.
Not many are aware that this film required quite a few stunts to be performed not just by the central protagonist Saahil Khan but also its leading lady Tanushree. To the surprise of the makers though, not just was Tanushree game to perform some of the most dare devil stunts on screen, she also refused to take the help of a body double even in those sequences that involved greater level of risk.
Though Tanushree has worked in action/dramatic flicks like SPEED, RAQEEB and CHOCOLATE before, she has never indulged in any dare devil stunts. However, buzz is that the inspiration for the stunts in RAAMA - THE SAVIOUR is none other than Lara Croft series. Now that Tanushree reflects in the past, does she feel that she would ever repeat the feat?
"At that time I was younger and sturdier as well. Then I used to think that I could jump off a cliff and it would have been all fine. I didn't listen to people because I wanted that adrenaline rush", she confesses, "Of course if today I am required to do something similar, I would be far more cautious and take many more precautions to be actually sure before I plunge into something like this. Perhaps I would also ask for a stunt double."
RAMA - THE SAVIOUR releases all over on 12th November.
