After the super success of the 2007 film DHAMAAL, Indra Kumar is back with its sequel DOUBLE DHAMAAL. Along with the original cast of Sanjay Dutt, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh and Aashish Chaudhary, this time, the film promises to be bigger with the addition of two lovely ladies- Kangna Ranaut and Mallika Sherawat.

Speaking about Kangna and Mallika, Indra Kumar said, "We have added a twist to include Kangna and Mallika. People complained last time about having no girls in the film. Nothing happens without girls. So I had to bring them because of public demand. Mallika is paired opposite Sanjay Dutt and Kangna is with Riteish."

He further added, "We saw the reaction of DHAMAAL and everybody was asking us about its sequel. I wasn't convinced about the sequel of DHAMAAL. Then we started working on the subject for two and a half years. We rejected 12 subjects. When I got this subject, it really inspired me. Everyone liked it and we finally started working."

Was the cast skeptical about the same characters again? "Not at all. When a character is set in the minds of the people, actors enjoy playing it again. They immediately gave their approvals," said the director.

DHAMAAL was a crazy film in which all the characters were eyeing a treasure. Will DOUBLE DHAMAAL also be a treasure hunt? "Unlike DHAMAAL, DOUBLE DHAMAAL isn't a treasure hunt. We have to do something different each time. If we keep ion repeating the same thing, people will think that we don't know anything else. But one thing's for sure. We'll make people laugh," concluded Indra with a smile.
