After the super success of LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKHA, acclaimed filmmaker Dibakar Banerjee is ready to make a political thriller called SHANGHAI. The film is jointly being produced by PVR Pictures Limited and Dibakar Banerjee Productions (DBP).

Said Dibakar, "The film is written by Urmi Juvekar and me. We have adapted it from a book called 'Z' and that book was the source of another French film about 40 years ago."

"We are in the middle of scripting the film. We'll be finalising the script in about two months. The film should go on floors by March-April," said the director on the film's status.

Isn't it too early to announce a film that will be on floors in March? "Usually, I always plan films in advance. I have a feeling that PVR has done a nice thing by announcing the film right now because two-three months from now, I'll be so busy into planning and production that I won't have the time," Dibakar said.

Quiz him about the actors and he says, "You will see known faces and unknown faces. We are in the process of signing up the lead actors, which we will announce as soon as possible."

Apart from LOVE, SEX AUR DHOKA, Banerjee has made films like KHOSLA KA GHOSLA and OYE LUCKY! LUCKY OYE! in the past.
