Bollywood's inimitable Akshay Kumar's major forthcoming release, TEES MAAR KHAN, has managed to achieve something that could take it through the record books of being the 'most auspicious film' ever made in the history of Indian cinema.
The film, directed by one of Bollywood's most loved directors, Farah Khan, has traversed major spiritual milestones throughout its making. Filming commenced on Holi and ended on Eid and Ganesh Chaturthi. Furthermore, the last song picturisation of the film, featuring Akshay Kumar alongside co-star Katrina Kaif and guest star Salman Khan, will be filmed during Navratri. If this was not enough, the exciting first promo will be unveiled on Diwali, with the film's release scheduled for Christmas.
Farah Khan, the most strong-willed and sought-after technician in Bollywood, recently showed her relief not only with the speedy shoot that her film has seen but also with the 'divine intervention' that there was at play, wishing that this 'divinity' stays with the film forever.
TEES MAAR KHAN will see Bollywood superstar Akshay Kumar in the character of a smart-alec, sexy and stylish international conman. The film, which mixes comedy and action, Akshay's favourite genres, is due for release on 24th December 2010.
