Though Shahid Kapoor's biggest hits have been romantic flicks like VIVAAH, JAB WE MET etc but Vishal Bhardwaj's KAMINEY has managed to do the impossible, that is breaking his romantic image and has endeared him to his countless fans as an able action hero.

With the chiseled physique that Shahid developed, especially for the role of the lovable goon Charlie in KAMINEY, this cute hero with chocolate boy good looks and teenage heartthrob of countless female fans is now one of the most sought after action heroes. Do our patrons find it hard to believe?

Well, it is not us proclaiming something out of context but a recent survey carried on in a nation wide consumer research spells out clearly that all over India, fans want to see Shahid in an action film. And it appears that Shahid has indeed paid heed to the wishes of his fans as we have news from our very reliable sources that BLUE director Anthony D'Souza has offered Shahid an action packed role. It is not yet confirmed if Shahid has signed on the dotted line but he has indeed been offered an action role by Anthony D'Souza. No doubt that BLUE failed commercially, but its action sequences (be it under water or on land) were of international standards and did win accolades from all, just a tight script was missing.

Here's waiting for the official announcement soon and awaiting eagerly to see Shahid flexing his muscles once again after KAMINEY.
