Though much may have been said and written about the Goa Governments stand on Rohan Sippy's film DUM MAARO DUM regarding the portrayal of this tourist heaven, one of the films lead actresses has underplayed these fears and called them unnecessary.
Bipasha Basu, who will be essaying a critical role in the film, has played down the fears about Goa being portrayed in a wrong light in her forthcoming film DUM MARO DUM. The actress thinks that such assumptions are not convincing at all. According to the actress, "I don't agree that we have presented Goa in a bad light in the film. And there have been so many gangster films made on Mumbai and it doesn't mean that this place is bad. Merely setting a film in a particular place does not make it good or bad. You have to watch the film to see that all such fears concerning DMD portraying Goa in a bad light are actually not true."
Bipasha is also excited about her forthcoming film PLAYERS which Singularity. The actress is hopeful that this calendar is going to be full of pleasant surprise for her audiences.
