In the world of Sonam Kapoor, all is well. Though from her generation there are other leading ladies like Deepika Padukone, Anushka Sharma and Sonakshi Sinha doing good for themselves, Sonam is unwilling to treat them as competition. As per her, all leading ladies in Bollywood can find their own place under the sun and it is irrelevant to pit them against each other.
'We all have been there for some time now and trying to do our best. Why create a sense of war amongst any of us? I don't look at any kind of rivalry here. There is no point in comparing one with other here as eventually it is destiny that will help us move ahead', says Sonam who had debuted along with Deepika Padukone on the same day when her SAAWARIYA clashed with OM SHANTI OM.
Over a period of time each of the four young actresses has seen a growth in their career. Though Sonam tasted success a little later with I HATE LUV STORYS and AISHA, she has eventually found herself in a relatively comfortable position with recent biggie THANK YOU being followed by MAUSAM and PLAYERS.
'The good part is that all four of us are very different from each other. If you look at Deepika or Anushka, we are all poles apart', Sonam gets candid here, 'As for Sonakshi, I can't even think of getting competitive with. After all she has been a very good friend of my sister. She has practically lived in my house. I have grown up with her.'
Well, hopefully all of this would go down in history as something being acknowledged on the records and ring a bell couple of years down the line as well when the competition heats up further. All the best ladies!
