If you thought acclaimed actor Naseeruddin Shah would be biased towards his (elder) son, Imaad Shah and would be all praise for him, or unduly propagate him like other star parents do, then you are highly mistaken. As Naseer is one father, who like any normal father scolds & criticizes for mistakes, praises for good work done, guides for a great future ahead for his son and keeps him grounded.

And this revelation comes from none other than Naseer's son, Imaad himself.

Says Imaad, "He is quite a harsh critic with everybody and that's the same thing with me. He is the last person to praise anybody. He is the most critical person and which is why I feel not a pressure on the contrary I feel that standard is always to be met."

He further reveals about his weaknesses as an actor, which his father Naseer keeps pointing out. "According to him I am too introverted and I am not very free with my words. He says I never share what I am thinking and that is something which has an effect on my performances because I am introverted person naturally. But that's not negative thing it's just a character trait," says the reticent boy.

However, the usually critical Naseer is all praise for Imaad's latest film 404 and his performance. "He really enjoyed my new film 404. I was expecting him to be very critical about it but surprisingly he really liked it. He had lot of good things to say about director Prawal Raman's vision and also about everyone's performances. He was really happy with my performance as well," concludes Imaad who is making his comeback with the psychological thriller, 404 after acting in films like YUN HOTA TOH KYA HOTA, DIL DOSTI ETC, LITTLE ZIZOU.

Interestingly, Imaad not only acts in the film 404 but also makes his debut as a music director.
