At a time when successful filmmakers will leave no stone unturned to showcase their freshly acquired high-tech-corporate-organizational set-ups, here's one filmmaker who is rooted in the traditional Indian filmmaking culture and churning out hits one after the other.
We are referring to none other than the current master filmmaker Rohit Shetty and his gang. According to the filmmaker, "We talk so much about corporate culture, I don't know what they mean by it, what I believe is working like a team and giving our best. My crew is like a family. They won't even eat food till I finish work while on the sets. We believe in that culture now call it whatever you want to?"
Rohit is also one of the few filmmakers who never changes his crew. His philosophy of having a family like bonding with his crew members is exemplary. Rohit has the same team working for him who started with him in GOLMAAL.
Says the filmmaker, "I have a traditional approach while selecting my crew. Now, having done so many films together, we are quite aware of each other's demands and it makes it easier to work with a crew who believe in working like a spirited team."
With Rohit Shetty proving that his traditional filmmaking approach can bring the box office to its knees, many filmmakers are busy taking a cue from his philosophy these days.
