UTV Movies ties up with the multi-starrer AARAKSHAN

It's time for some high voltage entertainment with the AARAKSHAN film festival on UTV Movies, as the channel associates with the much awaited socio-political drama. Taking forward the essence of the film AARAKSHAN, the channel presents a 5 day festival showcasing super hit movies featuring the stars of the film from 8th to 12th August.

The festival will feature the cast of the film through handpicked movies which depict the values represented by the stars in AARAKSHAN. Amitabh Bachchan who stands for family values will be seen in BHOOTNATH - a family entertainer, Saif Ali Khan and Deepika Padukone who bring out the spirit of love will be seen in QURBAAN and CHANDNI CHOWK TO CHINA respectively. Prateik Babbar starrer JAANE TU YAA JAANE YA will portray the values of friendship and Manoj Bajpai's SHOOL will depict greed prevalent in the bureaucratic system.

The 'AARAKSHAN film festival' takes forward the proposition of Jeeyo festivals which associate with popular celebrities and soon to release movies through dedicated film festivals. The channel has earlier celebrated eight Jeeyo Festivals around superstars like Aamir Khan, Salman Khan, Akshay Kumar, Abhishek Bachchan and recently also tied up with blockbusters like DOUBLE DHAMAAL and ZINDAGI NA MILEGI DOBARA to showcase festivals featuring the actors of the films. The festival will be promoted through integrated promos on-air, mailers, social media and ambient branding in multiplexes.
