After her Lazy Lamhe act in THODA PYAAR THODA MAGIC, Ameesha Patel is back to creating some magic on screen with her Meena Baazaar jig in CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR. Even though the film is arriving after a delay, Ameesha is happy that she has managed to add the Sanjay Dutt starrer to her repertoire, especially after she had decided to go slow during last few years and hadn't signed any new film.

"I have always tried to go by my instincts and CHATUR SINGH is one of them," she says, "Both KAHO NAA PYAAR HAI as well as GADAR were the kind of films that I had signed in the first hearing since I had right instincts about them. In fact when I was doing GADAR, I remember how many people dissuaded me from doing it since it required me to play the mother of a grown up boy. Still, I went ahead and took the plunge."

Continuing in the same vein, she adds, "Then when I was getting this good girl image, I signed HUMRAAZ where not just was I playing a negative character but was also seen in 'saree' for a major part of the film. Similarly in MANGAL PANDEY, I agreed to play the part of a widow. Tell me, how many girls would agree to get so experimental so early in her career despite two back to back blockbusters? Whenever I have stepped into the film after making calculations that this would be right for me, the move hasn't quite worked. On the other hand my instincts have never failed me."

Also starring Anupam Kher, Gulshan Grover, Satish Kaushik and Suresh Menon in principal roles, CHATUR SINGH TWO STAR is directed by Ajay Chandhok and releases all over on 19th August.
