Mallika Sherawat is all set to come back to Bollywood to play the leading lady opposite Vivek Oberoi in Amit Chandrra's KISMAT LOVE PAISA DILLI(KLPD), however that doesn't mean that it's the end of her Hollywood sojourn. Infact she is trying to juggle her dates so as to be able to do justice to her Hollywood commitments and KLPD.
The actress who has been in the US for major part of the last two years has actually been roped in by a big production house in Hollywood for their film that is to be shot next year, if sources are to be believed. The source goes on to add that Mallika is under contract not to talk about the film until an official announcement has been made before shooting starts. Apparently Mallika has made it clear to the KLPD team that she is expected to report to the states in sometime; for the same the entire film is to be shot in a start to finish schedule to accommodate this development in Mallika's career. The producer of the film Amit Chandrra states that Mallika has told us about her commitments in US, for which she needs to be back in Los Angeles by mid Feb. So we will wrap up the entire film starting from December 15 onwards, in a continuous schedule. The MURDER actor has been spending a major part of her time in US for the last 2 years. In Bollywood, she was last seen in 3 item songs, apart from acting in Indra Kumar's multi starrer DHAMAAL. In KLPD, Mallika has been cast as a Haryanvi girl from North India and will be seen starring opposite Vivek Oberoi. Sanjay Khanduri will be directing the film. 'She was offered a part in Yashraj Films upcoming venture ISHAQZAADE besides in JISM 2, but she wasn't happy with the roles in the films. So, she turned them down says a member of her entourage. Despite being brought up in Rothak in Haryana, Mallika will go through workshops to perfect her lingo and dialect for her part in KLPD.
