Here's another Christmas treat from the makers of DON 2 to its worldwide fans! Bollywood supremo Shahrukh Khan once again is entering the realm of virtual superheroes with the launch of the DON 2 video game alongside the movie. India's one of the largest game services company is developing a game for the most awaited action thriller of 2011, Excel Entertainment and Reliance Entertainment's Bollywood hit DON 2, scheduled to be released in the UK on 21st December 2011.
The buzz and anticipation in this super successful franchise is the realistic elements to the iconic characters. The service company is developing a third-person action adventure console game where a player gets to play as Shahrukh Khan himself, perform the activities as Don and experience the breathtaking moments of the movie in an interactive space, with the various characters from the movie including Priyanka Chopra's character Roma. The player gets to be the DON himself to complete six immersive chapters. The levels are packed with gunfights, stealth missions, high speed car and rooftop chases. Shahrukh Khan's character will have three different looks in the game, corresponding to his looks in the movie. CHECK OUT: Don says, ''Don ke dushman ki sabse badi galti yeh hai ki...''
Farhan Akhtar, director of DON 2 said, ''Every one of us seeks adventure and when Gameshastra came up with this idea of making a game based on the film's narrative it really excited me and I felt that this could be interesting yet fun way to let people have their personal dose of action and adventure.''
Reinterpreting the 1978 original for a new and international audience, Farhan Akhtar once again directs the world's biggest Bollywood star Shahrukh Khan alongside Bollywood beauties Priyanka Chopra along with Lara Dutta, Boman Irani and Kunal Kapoor, who will be seen playing pivotal roles in the film.
DON 2 will set screens ablaze worldwide from Wednesday 21st December 2011 in 2D and 3D with English Subtitles by Reliance Entertainment.
