One full year after the release of Emraan Hashmi starrer CROOK, it's leading lady Neha Sharma is now eyeing a return. The film is KYA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM, the much awaited sequel to KYA KOOL HAI HUM and for Neha, it is all the more special since it comes from the house of Balaji who just hit gold yet again with THE DIRTY PICTURE. While the film's leading lady Vidya Balan has earned quite some respect and acclaim for her bravura act in an author backed role, Neha Sharma too believes that it would be a tough journey ahead for her since the franchise (though with men at the helm of affairs) comes with a tremendous recall value.
"Even though I had done CROOK earlier, the makers of KYAA SUPER KOOL HAI HUM (KSKHH) wanted me to screen test for the part. There were others in the fray as well and all of them had to go through the drill. I thought that may be CROOK was good enough but seems like they wanted to test me more," laughs Neha who had done well in her debut affair, "To think about it, I hadn't auditioned for CROOK but here in KSKHH it was a basic entry criteria. I was given some comic scenes that I had to enact. I really liked it all though I have to admit that getting the film wasn't akin to a fairy tale by any stretch of imagination." The year gone by did wise her up though and now she feels that there is added maturity that has set into her personality.
"I am not from any filmy background and there aren't 20 people out there willing to give me a second chance. I know that I have to go through screen tests, auditions, the works. I don't mind that though. I have grown up in the past one year. Tomorrow when I have a hit film in hand, I would value it much more than ever before," signs off Neha on a hopeful note.
