With the music of Hriday Shetty's CHAALIS CHAURAASI(4084) making its presence felt, composer Lalit Pandit is quite happy. Apart from the fact that he once again roped in his 'Munni Badnaam Huyi' (DABANGG) singer Mamta Sharma for an item number, 'Badmast', he also revealed how Hassan Jahangir's 'Hawa Hawa' got into the scheme of things.
Lalit told us, ''It was director Hriday Shetty's idea to get 'Hawa Hawa' on board for CHAALIS CHAURAASI (4084). You see many of the old film songs have been recreated but no one had thought of non filmy songs. 'Hawa Hawa' is an iconic track and was a rage in the late 80's, and there were umpteen versions of it. When we started searching for Hassan Jahangir, unfortunately we heard that he was no more. But thankfully that was not the case and we managed to find him, and the rest as they say is history!'' CHECK OUT: A grand music launch of CHAALIS CHAURAASI
Well, we tend to agree with Lalit and are sure that the music of CHAALIS CHAURAASI will be a plus for the film when it releases on 13th January.
