In the making for around a year, F.A.L.T.U has seen active involvement from Jaccky right from conceptualisation to writing to the shooting. Before the script was given a go ahead, Jackky Bhagnani went through quite a few other stories as well before a collaborative approach between him, Vashu and director Remo settled on F.A.L.T.U.
"That's right, the three of us were constantly in talks for the making of this film," says Vashu, "Remo too was on board from the very beginning and though I could have finalised a film all by myself since Jackky would have trusted my judgement, I still wanted his views. He listened to the script of F.A.L.T.U. and found it fantastic. Only after we were all on the same page did we started work on the film."
There have been other celebrity sons belonging to the world of films who have managed to make it big and are still around. Some of such notable names are Hrithik Roshan, Ranbir Kapoor and Abhishek Bachchan. How has Jaccky ensured that he too goes the whole hog to join the league?
"The names that you mention enjoy a star status because they have gone beyond their name tags," says Vashu, "These are people who are very committed to their craft. See, the matter of the fact is that you can't force youngsters to do what you want. They need to have a spark within themselves, something that Jackky has. He is just 25 years old but values commitment. That should help him grow further."
A cool campus flick, F.A.L.T.U. has been lavishly shot in Mauritius. The film is a light hearted fun film which is vibrant, musical and frothy, hence targeting the youth audience. Introducing ex-Miss India Pooja Gupta in the lead with music by Sachin-Jigar, the film releases all over on 1st April.
