This week will see the release of the anticipated Madhavan-Kangna starrer TANU WEDS MANU and the children's film SATRANGEE PARACHUTE. It is quite obvious that the reasonably budgeted TANU WEDS MANU will be the first choice of the audience and even with limited patronization it may well be a surprise success.
TANU WEDS MANU and 7 KHOON MAAF
Just like most of the recent releases, after a slow start Vishal Bhardwaj's 7 KHOON MAAF too showed some improvement over the weekend. However the pick up was not substantial and given the fact that 7 KHOON MAAF is a 22 crore film it will have to improve further and more importantly perform well in the coming weeks as well. The film has been rejected in the Overseas grossing £46,746 from UK and $165,000 from US during the opening weekend (18-20 February).
The other releases of the same week, KACCHA LIMBOO and MASTI EXPRESS, had quite a weak start and the collection went from bad to worse as the week progressed.
