Ajay Devgn believes that there is no reason why Emraan Hashmi would be insecure due to his presence in their upcoming film DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI. Though film maker Madhur Bhandarkar promises that his main leads have an equal part to play in the narrative of this slice of life romcom, one did wonder aloud if Emraan Hashmi would be worrying about Ajay getting a better deal due to a terrific 2010 behind him. However if Ajay is to be believed, there is no reason why Emraan would feel insecure at all.
"I don't think he would be carrying any such insecurity", Ajay immediately negates the insinuation, "If that was the case, we wouldn't have been working together in DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI again after ONCE UPON A TIME IN MUMBAAI, right?"
Last year, Ajay Devgn and Emraan Hashmi were pitted against each other in this Milan Luthria directed gangster affair. The film was a critical as well as a commercial success. Also, it was in news for the fact that both Ajay and Emraan aspired to give their best and fortunately for them as well as audience, both actors were pretty much neck to neck due to their bravura act.
"In fact I remember how Emraan was roped in the film", states Ajay whose close associate Kumar Mangat is co-producing the film along with Madhur Bhandarkar, "When Madhur came to me with DIL TOH BACCHA HAI JI, I and Kumar Mangat sat down with him and started discussing the other co-actors. It was Madhur who came up with the idea of roping in Emraan and I was convinced too."
Well, if there indeed has been a solid camaraderie between the two actors, it would indeed be a welcome sign for Bollywood which could well benefit from this solid 'two hero jodi' for many more years to come.
