With the media infiltrating the film sets and leaking out top-secret plotlines and song sequences, the current challenge among the Bollywood filmmakers is to devise new methods so that the information does not get leaked before the film is released.
According to our sources, a host of methods are being tested. From banning cell phones to reducing the production staff, every conceivable trick is being tried by the filmmakers.
AAMIR KHAN and SAIF ALI KHAN
Adds our source, "So far the methods adopted by Saif Ali-Khan and Aamir have paid off. While chote nawab banned cell phones with cameras on his sets, Aamir Khan decided to reduce the number of production staff while shooting for his item number for DELHI BELLY. The motive was to keep the information controlled and media leaks to bare minimum. But, in this game of secrecy, SRK was caught napping when one of the songs from his upcoming film RA.ONE got leaked."
The need to maintain secrecy in this age of tabloid crazy generation is turning out to be a tough task for the filmmakers. Though banning cell phones and reducing staff on the sets might be baby steps in the direction of managing film secrets, we wonder what all is stored if these methods also fail.
