Ram Gopal Verma, who many think has lost the plot after giving films like RANGEELA, SATYA and COMPANY has agreed that he is an impulsive filmmaker.
The maverick filmmaker, who makes some of the most experimental films in bollywood, has accepted his penchant for impulsive decisions. In his words, "I'm impulsive and take decisions very fast. I would rather go wrong than wait endlessly."

Many also wonder why RGV does not work with established stars any more. But the filmmaker is in no mood to worry about what people say as he believes in casting stars as per the requirement of the script. Talking about working with big stars, the filmmaker adds, "It's not a fact that I don't want to work with so-called big stars. But my nature is such that I get excited by a story. If I think of an idea today, I want to make it tomorrow. After that I start looking for actors who could fit the bill. But in today's time, the mainstream actors come with a certain baggage, which is good for them but that kind of cinema is different. I don't make that kind of cinema."
RGV is currently working on his next film DEPARTMENT that features Big B, Sanjay Dutt and the south sensation Rana Daggubati (of DUM MAARO DUM fame) in the lead roles.
