Ram Gopal Varma has lent a dark mood to the picturisation of his upcoming dramatic thriller NOT A LOVE STORY. The film's promos that would be out soon showcase the exact flavour of the film which is an outright antithesis of how a love story looks like.
'The treatment that I have given to NOT A LOVE STORY would convey anything but a love story here,' teases Ramu, 'I have explored the innermost demons of the characters here. Also, the entire film has been shot in such a way that it would seem as if these three key protagonists are completely unaware about anyone around them. They were instructed not to be conscious about the presence of crew members and behave as if other than them no one else was present in the film.'
RAM GOPAL VARMA
It is a known fact that NOT A LOVE STORY (with Mahie Gill, Deepak Dobriyal and Ajay Gehi in principal roles) is based on the infamous murder involving actress Maria Susairaj who along with her boyfriend killed her former lover, cut it into pieces and then disposed off his body. Ramu is all set to present a graphic account of what really happened inside the room.
'It is this very point that continues to shock me till date', says Ramu in a dramatic tone, 'What exactly would have been going in the mind of a young girl and boy who decide to not just kill a man but after that also cut it down to pieces? After you read such things about them, you can't see them as normal people. There has to be a dark edge to the entire affair.'
Well Ramu, considering a series of dark films you have made in the recent past, including the two parts of RAKHT CHARITRA, we would want to check it out for ourselves how far you have gone ahead for NOT A LOVE STORY.
