This is going to be an almost open week for Indra Kumar's DOUBLE DHAMAAL, the sequel and follow up to his highly successful DHAMAAL (2007). Given the slick promotion and hype the Sanjay Dutt, Riteish Deshmukh, Ashish Chowdhry, Kangna Ranaut, Mallika Sherawat, Arshad Warsi, Satish Kaushik and Jaaved Jaaffrey starrer is expected to embark on a good start and if the contents are good and the word of mouth positive, the film can go from strength to strength.

Last Friday saw the release of five films - BHEJA FRY 2, ALWAYS KABHI KABHI, BIN BULAYE BARAATI, BHINDI BAAZAAR INC.. and CYCLE KICK. As was obvious, the audience again preferred READY, and from the bunched releases it was just BHEJA FRY 2 that saw some decent collections at select multiplexes and BIN BULAYE BAARAATI which was patronized by the single screen cinemas of North and Central India. The rest of the releases were rejected.
