Everyone knows that the world's greatest pop star Micheal Jackson inspired the artist in performer, video director, singer and Bollywood choreographer Ganesh Hegde.

Reveals Ganesh, "I needed a reason to believe that someone like me who was from a poor family could make it big... Thriller was the reason I became a dancer. I have been dancing since I was a child, but I was introduced to the western style by Michael Jackson.'

After having done 500 stage shows across the globe Ganesh Hegde choreographed for his idol's show in India and even opened the act during his Indian leg of tour - His first album 'Mein Deewana' was also inspired by the pop star.

'It was a dream come true to meet Michael. I met him backstage. I've grown up on his dance,' adds Ganesh.

If sources are to be believed Ganesh will also pay tribute to Micheal in his forthcoming album.
