As is a known fact by now, the USP of Abhishek Bachchan starrer GAME is its very plot that is about four complete strangers being brought under one roof due to an interconnecting factor - a woman named Maya (played by debutante Sarah Jane Dias).
"How intriguing can it be to have four people from different parts of the world who are interrelated by one person", director Abhinay Deo gets excited here, "There is something that has happened to this one person and these four people are not aware of what happened and who did it. One person brings them all together to an island and breaks the news to them. This is what changes the lives of these four people."
For starters, the four people that Abhinay is referring here are Abhishek Bachchan, Jimmy Shergill, Shahana Goswami, Kangana Ranaut and Boman Irani. Admitting that he wanted to bring back the genre of whodunits in Bollywood, Abhinay equates GAME to be a 'game of fate'.
"There are four different links that are connected with this one individual. One is a romantic link, another is an emotional link, third is a dark link while the fourth is about life and death. It's a maze formed by events taking place in and around these links that promises to make GAME an engaging watch", Abhinay exclaims, "Having said that, let me also tell you that while GAME stays on to be a suspense thriller, at the core of it there is an extremely strong emotion running. Once you see the film, you would further understand what I am trying to convey."
Well Abhinay, we would be pretty interested in understanding that once the film hits the screens on 1st April.
