March, the month of drought for Hindi films is still on and all attention is now focused on the next month, April, which will see a host of new and big releases.
Leading the way is Vashu Bhagnani's F.A.L.T.U which releases on the 1st of April. The film can be labeled as a comeback vehicle for Vashu's handsome son, Jackky Bhagnani, whose debut launch, KAL KISSNE DEKHA, did not meet with a good response and thus put a break on Jackky's promising career in Bollywood, although Jackky has been rather successful on television. And we have reasons to believe that he will surely make a strong statement with F.A.L.T.U.
The first and foremost reason is that the cool and chilled out promos have caught the fancy of the audience and more so the youth. Secondly it's music is gaining popularity with each passing day especially the Atif Aslam song, Le Ja Tu Mijhe which has been made into a promotional music video serves the purpose right. Thirdly, the presence of stars like Riteish Deshmukh and Arshad Warsi will certainly provide a good back up support and last but not the least is the youth oriented theme, which is likely to find favour amongst the target audience, the young gen who as we have seen have the power to make a film a humongous hit, as was evident with 3 IDIOTS.
Well, here's hoping that Jackky gets the deserved success with F.A.L.T.U and Bollywood overcomes its season of drought and loss with a winner.
