Mahie Gill, who has been known for her realistic performances, has gone one step ahead in getting into the skin of her character, for her upcoming film which is an edgy political thriller, directed by Vivek Agnihotri.

Mahie's role required her to be in short hair, but after trying out many different looks and wigs, Vivek finally convinced Mahie, to get her hair cut and Mahie did follow her director's orders. Being a sardarni, Mahie took the bold step and has chopped off her luscious hair.

Well we guess when the male actors can experiment with their looks for their films, then why should their female counterparts be left behind.
