Sunny Deol was in the enchanting hill town of Manali for the last few days, enjoying a quiet retreat. When he had earlier arrived in Manali (last Wednesday) there were speculations that Sunny was there to shoot for his under production film, MOHALLA ASSI, but that turned out to be incorrect as Sunny had merely arrived in the hill station to take a break from his hectic shooting schedule in Varanasi.

As most people who follow Bollywood will know, Sunny Deol has a soft corner for Manali, and quite a few of his films like GADAR, JAAL-THE TRAP and HERO have been shot there and naturally when Sunny arrived at the Bhuntar airport expectations arose of another shooting taking place, especially as he had landed in Bhuntar airport in his MOHALLA ASSI look.

However local shooting coordinator Anil Kayastha informs that Sunny was in Manali on a holiday along with close friends and had spent most of his time enjoying the picturesque locales of Manali and its surroundings like Solang Valley and he even enjoyed the snowfall with his friends from Gujarat.

Well, Sunny sure deserves a break because after performances and work like the one he has put for MOHALLA ASSI.
