Unlike rest of the Khans in bollywood, Aamir Khan's love for multistarrer films seems to be growing by the day. There was a time when Aamir would only opt for solo projects and nothing else. Then came a stage when Aamir did a few multi-starrers which turned out to be path breaking films; RANG DE BASANTI and 3 IDIOTS for example, and now it seems Aamir has decided never to hold a grudge against multistarrers ever.
While Aamir has made peace with signing multistarrer films, on the other hand the rest of the Khan gang; SRK, Salman and Saif, are finding it hard to come out of the solo film mould.
According to an industry observer, 'If you look at the last few years, out of the Khan brigade only Aamir has shown keen interest in multi-starrer films. Now, with DHOOM 3, Aamir will take it to another level where his character would share equal footage with the rest of the star cast, something which was not even the case with RANG DE BASANTI and 3 IDIOTS were Aamir still had the upper hand.'
On the contrary, SRK, Salman and Saif are working hard to build their solo film market. With DABANGG 2, RA.ONE and AGENT VINOD, their intentions are clear. On the other hands Aamir prefers to mix his choice, with multistarrers becoming one of his preferred picks.
