Ever since the promos of F.A.L.T.U hit the screens, the focus has been on the film being a campus entertainer with elements of a young romance being thrown in. While the film's lead pair is that of Jackky Bhagnani and Puja Gupta , they are shown making merry with the gang of boys comprising of Chandan Roy Sanyal and Angad Bedi.
On questioned that how far is the romance explored between her and Jackky in the film, ex-Miss India Universe Puja, who is playing a DJ in the film, says, "Well, you can say the love angle is interspersed with all the fun and frolic taking place in the campus. And when you are in a campus, there are friends, masti and a lot of mazaa all around you. That's the reason why there are songs and dances like Chaar Baj Gaye, Bhoot Aaya and Fully Faltu being played all around Jackky and I."
"When I had signed the film and told my friends that I was playing a girl in an all-boys gang, even my friends asked me if I was making the right decision," remembers Puja, "However I was fine with it. Who doesn't get into masti and dhamaal when in college? I had to do it all in my own sweet and simple way. I am happy to be enacting a character with whom people can comfortably relate. It is not a fantasy world out there."
Produced by Vashu Bhagnani, F.A.L.T.U. also features Arshad Warsi and Riteish Deshmukh in principal roles. With music by Sachin-Jigar, F.A.L.T.U. releases all over on 1st April.
