So the drought is over and the coming Friday will see the release of EROS International and Excel Entertainment's GAME, along with Vashu Bhagnani's F.A.L.T.U. There is no doubt that some benefit will accrue to both GAME and F.A.L.T.U. as people are hungry for fresh and big canvas entertainment. One feels that the Jackky Bhagnani starrer F.A.L.T.U. will appeal more to the campus crowd, thanks to the theme and also the very popular music while Abhishek Bachchan's GAME will be patronized by the thrill and suspense loving section of the audience.
Both the Hindi releases of last Friday, Anup Jalota's MONICA and Phenomenal Crafts PVT. Ltd.'s HAPPY HUSBANDS, saw weak to terrible start. Comparatively speaking the Divya Dutta starrer MONICA fared better than HAPPY HUSBANDS. The third film of the same week, the Sharmila and Soha starrer, LIFE GOES ON (English) saw a poor start at the ticket window. Trade predicts a bleak future for all the three aforementioned films.
