The bad boy tag that Salman Khan has carried over the years is not actually that bad if its ripple effects are taken into account.
According to the actor, his drunken-driving case and his hunting case have set a new precedent in the country. Salman also argues that according to statistics available with him, the instances of drunken driving have reduced by seventy percent post his high profile case.
Speaking about the controversies that have been surrounding him, Salman recently got candid by pointing out the positive effects of his bad-boy image. Says he, "I always try to look at the positive side of my past. Now, take the example of my case when my driver ran over the footpath dwellers. I have come to know that post that incident, the instances of drunken-driving have reduced by seventy percent. My incident has set an example and people think that if Salman can't be spared what about us? Same is the case with my hunting controversy. I hear that many have just given up the sport after I was involved in the case. So, all these developments are good things to observe."
Though Salman might still have the "bad-boy" image intact, but the good things that have resulted from it cannot be overlooked.
