The world may know about it later but in Salman's mind, READY is already a huge success. Amongst close friends and family circle, Salman has declared that the film would be nothing short of a blockbuster. This comes from the confidence he has gained after the response to the talkie promo, two chartbuster songs (Dhinka Chika, Character Dheela) as well as the rough cut of the film that he was shown recently by director Anees Bazmee.
"Salman, Anees Bazmee as well as Sohail saw the film as it was being edited," informs a senior crew member, "Everyone is so happy with the way the film has shaped up. In fact Salman is already proclaiming that this would be a much bigger hit than his last film (NO ENTRY) with Bazmee. The director too was ecstatic with such encouragement and wished him the same by stating that hopefully he too gets a bigger success than DABANGG with this one."
While mutual admiration between the actor and director seems to be the order of the day, one can't quite forget that it wasn't too long back when tongues were wagging about spoilt relationship between the two and how they parted on an ugly note even as a song shoot was pending in Bangkok schedule.
"Even though you may be working with full imaandaari, there are moments like these when you find yourself standing in a witness box and defending yourself," Bazmee fires a salvo here, "Does anyone even know what really happened out there in Bangkok? I had to rush back to Mumbai due to some emergency related to THANK YOU but now I have learnt a very good lesson that one should not make two films at the same time."
He is happy though that Salman is confident about READY. "Yeah, he has been telling me that the film would be bigger than not just NO ENTRY but also SINGH IS KINNG and WELCOME. I also don't see any reason why it should do any lesser."
A Bhushan Kumar production with Asin as the leading lady, READY releases all over on 3rd June.
