Ever since news broke about perceived tension between Salman Khan and Anees Bazmee around the making of READY, the writer-director has been crying hoarse that all is indeed well between the duo. The round of speculations are still continuing though with the latest allegation being that it was Salman and not Bazmee who was calling the shots for the editing of READY as well. Expectedly though the maker is denying any interfering per se and is attributing it to creative inputs.
"These are silly stories that have been floating around", says Bazmee, "Inshaalah, READY is just a beginning for Salman and myself and we will make more good films together. He is a good person, good actor and a big star. He has been my friend and will stay on to be. In fact during the making of the film, our love for each other has only enhanced further."
The tension began a around three months back though when during the last leg of the making of READY, Bazmee flew down from Bangkok to Mumbai in order to supervise the pre-release proceedings for THANK YOU. Since a song was still remaining to be shot, tongues started wagging that Bazmee and Khan had separated and that too on an ugly note. It was also said that resultantly, Bazmee lost interest in the film.
Tell him about these rumours making the rounds after his alleged fight with Salman and the filmmaker fires back, "Am I a fool to be disinterested in a film which is creating the maximum buzz amongst all films that have either been released or would be released later this year? It is nothing but the mischief of some people out there who are spreading rumours around my relationship issues with Salman. Salman ka dil sheeshe ki tarah saaf hain. There is no politics with him. "
With Asin as the leading lady, READY releases all over on 3rd June.
