John Abraham saw fair deal of success with FORCE and now with DESI BOYZ looking promising; he fondly remembers what Mahesh Bhatt had said to him a decade back when they had worked together on Bipasha Basu starrer JISM.
"Mahesh Bhatt said this interesting thing to me that I come with a unique combination where my face has a certain vulnerability to it while my body has this huge macho factor," recollects John, "I am keen to continue using this combination to my advantage. FORCE allowed me to get into this silent powerful zone where I could deliver one of my best performances ever. Now I am looking forward to how audience react when they see me in a film like DESI BOYZ that boasts of an altogether different genre."
This is the reason why John isn't completely discounting movies that allow him to step into a zone where his sensitive side is up for display. As a result, different genres pretty much seem to be trickling in for him, what with close to half a dozen major films lined up for John in next 18 months. Does he too feel that this is the best phase of his career?
"See, I always look at my life as an experiment. I neither get euphoric nor step into a depression zone due to fate of my films. I never have major expectations from any film of mine. All I remember is to be disciplined and try to do better with every film of mine. Once a film of mine is through, I move on to the next one. Yesterday it was FORCE, tomorrow it is going to be DESI BOYZ."
