Himesh Reshammiya doesn't have any plans to rest, especially so after the good response that his DAMADAMM has managed to fetch at the box office. As per Rajesh Thadani of Multimedia Combines, the film has already garnered 4.25 crores at the box office with number of shows increasing in its second week at Gujarat.
Meanwhile the film's music continues to fetch good popularity, what with 'Umrao Jaan' finding attention internationally as well. As has turned out, acclaimed music video director Roman White, with whom Himesh is anyways in collaboration for his international music album has caught fancy of 'Umrao Jaan'.
Says a source, "Roman White plans to use hookline of 'Umrao Jaan' in one of his forthcoming international videos/shows. This is great news for Himesh because when someone of White's calibre decides to take a song to international score, there are many other doors that open. Himesh has been strategizing to pitch himself in international market and this is yet another step forward in that direction."
While 'Umrao Jaan' hookline would be a definite added attraction, there would also be a series of music videos that would be directed for the album "at da edge". It would have 15 songs written, composed and sung by Himesh with the highlight being that all of them would be in English.
"Yes, this is a huge collaboration since Roman White is the creator of worldwide hit videos of Justin Bibber, Taylor Swift and Carrie Underwood," the source continues, "Now Himesh's "at da edge" would be released across 122 countries and for the videos, Himesh's look has being styled by the best designers in Hollywood."
With the buzz being that world's biggest Music Publishers and one of the biggest Music Labels have come on the board, guess Himesh is all set to take 'Umrao Jaan' internationally now.
