Bollywood actor Tusshar Kapoor sheds his guy-next door image and goes bold with upcoming film THE DIRTY PICTURE. Though it appears little hard to digest Tusshar in such a role, he states that his real persona has always been bold.
''At some point or the other we all have to come out of the shell and have boldness in our life. I am an actor and I feel excited and comfortable doing all kinds of role. For me it's the same thing, its part of my job but for people it might be new. I am very bold that way. People aren't aware of it. Though the films and the roles which I have done have been very boyish, in personal life I am not that shy,'' says Tusshar.
Ask Tusshar if he is trying to get away from his boyish image with THE DIRTY PICTURE and he says, ''My character is not that bold in the film. It's Vidya's character which is bold. It's a complete turnaround for her. So I won't be breaking my image in a great way but yes I'll be seen doing certain scenes and mouthing dialogues that are every different to what I have done before. Like there is a kissing scene, etc...'' CHECK OUT: Tusshar excited to be seen in this 'dirty picture'
Tusshar, who will be seen wooing Vidya Balan in the film, is highly taken aback with her outstanding performance. Says Tusshar, ''Vidya has always been very good actor but with this film she has really done what I have thought out of her comfort zone. She has done everything so comfortably that now I feel it was always part of her comfort zone. She has crossed our expectations. It's like me, people have this perception I can't do a sexy film because that's not my persona or image, etc...since we don't show that side to anyone. But yes if the role demands that side can also come out and we can also be bold, colourful, extrovert, etc.''
Also starring Naseeruddin Shah, Emraan Hashmi, THE DIRTY PICTURE will hit the screens on December 2.
