Songs being released online that claim to be an original composition from a film which is still far away from release has become a trend rather than exception, especially when it comes to biggies. Salman Khan's EK THA TIGER hasn't been spared of that either, what with a song titled 'Jaaniyan' finding a huge presence online.
"This song claims itself to be an original composition belonging to EK THA TIGER. A full fledged song is being played all over internet channels with vocals that belong to Bilawal Baloch. He is an upcoming artist from Pakistan and currently said to be settled in the United Kingdom," informs a Bollywood enthusiast who happened to come across 'Jaaniyaan' through a link shared on a popular social networking website.
However one does wonder whether the claim of 'Jaaniyan' being a part of EK THA TIGER is indeed true. A quick research shows that 'Jaaniyan' was a single released by Bilawal quite some time back and hasn't been exclusively composed for EK THA TIGER. Also, Sohail Sen (of MERE BROTHER KI DULHAN fame) is the actual composer of the Salman Khan-Katrina Kaif starrer, the shooting of which is currently on. "It is clear that someone out there is playing a mischief," says a cyber crime expert, "Either it is Bilawal or one of his friends uploading the song and propagating that it belongs to EK THA TIGER. Or it could also be possible that Bilawal is himself not aware about someone using his name and trying to create confusion amongst audience for EK THA TIGER soundtrack. Either ways, this is simply not done and totally unwarranted."
Having said that, one has to say that regardless of 'Jaaniyan' belonging to EK THA TIGER or not, it is well made composition with good vocals that do catch a listener's attention in its first play itself. However, this may well be a short lived fame for the artists involved since the makers have vehemently denied that 'Jaaniyan' has anything to do with EK THA TIGER.
"No, the song that you have brought into our notice doesn't belong to EK THA TIGER. None of our songs have gone online," confirms the official spokesperson of the film.
