The sequel to the 2007 critically acclaimed EK CHALLIS KI LAST LOCAL seems to be getting more and more interesting with each passing day.
A source close to the writer director Sanjay Kandhuri informs us that after garnering critical acclaim for the first the director wanted to makes sure that his next film, GYRAH CHALLIS KI LAST METRO, would not only garner immense acclaim but also make a mark on the box office.
The source also adds that the actress's slot is still up for grabs and if initial rumors are to be believed the role has been inspired from Sandra Bullock's character in speed, someone who gets caught up in a life threatening situation unknowingly in an unstoppable metro similar to Bullock getting caught in a speeding bus.
The source goes onto add that the actress's role is a parallel lead to the actors unlike the first where the actress was constrained to being a part of the actors journey. The makers are now on the lookout for an actress of the caliber to carry of such a pivotal role and stand her own opposite Vivek Oberoi in the much spoken about sequel. And from what we've heard the two leading contenders for the role are Bipasha Basu and Jacqueline Fernandez.
