Other personalities on the dais included actor Amitabh Bachchan, classical maestro Ustad Rashid Khan and Netsurf Entertainment Managing Director Sujit Jain.

The album also features Avinesh and Avitesh, sons of Aadesh Shrivastava, who make their first public appearance on the big screen.

Akon said, 'Aadesh is a brother to me. I stand by him to support any cause. When I heard this song in LA I did not have second though for a second.. Jaago, peace for all.'
Aadesh Shrivastava stated, ''Terrorism is very emotional for me, I lost 2 dear friends at 26/11. Killing people anywhere in the world is not right. The language I know fluent is music. Therefore, Sound of Peace is to propagate World Peace.''
''We are looking at taking this initiative to another level and will be hosting a musical concert in January with various musical legends to create global awareness against terrorism,'' said Sujit Jain.
To spread the message of peace, a live musical concert, conceptualized by Netsurf Entertainment will be held in January 2012 in Mumbai with performances by musical maestros from across the world.
