Shahrukh Khan may have seen quite some flak coming his way for RA.ONE which, despite turning into an earning preposition for most, was criticized for its content. So much so that many were even willing to conveniently ignore the illustrious career that he has enjoyed over last couple of decades and were now willing to plot his downfall. However those close to him feel that such negativity is not uncommon in this industry and it would be least surprising when even his detractors change tune after the release of another much anticipated film of his, DON 2.
'Whenever you do something different, there is bound to be a good deal of negativity too that one has to be content with,' says a senior filmmaker, 'Also, you have to look at the fact that there are vested interests of so many people when someone brings a mega crore project like this. It is simple, when you say or write something badly about someone as huge as Shahrukh Khan, you are bound to be noticed. On the other hand if you say anything about any lesser individual, no one would even notice you talking, leave aside hearing what you have to say.' CHECK OUT: Shahrukh Khan- Mujhe Andhera Pasand Hai
'One month has gone by and you can see how all the noise around Shahrukh and RA.ONE has subsided. You see how things will turn around just a fortnight before the Christmas release of the film,' chuckles a trade guru, 'There are plans well in place and though the promotion may seem a little subdued right now, it will get into full gear before the film's release.'
Well, we hope so as well as this Farhan Akhtar directed film approaches its 23rd December release.
