There may be all sorts of stories floating around for THE DIRTY PICTURE as it gets ready to hit the screens. Whether it is the way Vidya Balan will romance different men at various stages in the life of Silk or the passionate sequences she will be a part of - everything about the film and its leading lady has managed to create huge buzz around the film. However one man who is caught amidst all the passion for the first time is Tusshar Kapoor.
"You can't have a film about a hot siren and not have some moments of passion," says Tusshar. "When you see the passionate scenes, you will not say arrey yaar, iski kya zaroorat thi? I am saying this because more often than not you hear us actors say that we agreed to do this or that due to the demand of the script. Here too, it is indeed the demand of the script."
There was a time when it was being said that in order to make his actors comfortable with each other, director Milan Luthria had arranged for workshops. True? "Aisa kahin hota hai kya," asks Tusshar dismissing the theory. "Knowing Milan's sensibilities, it would be futile to expect anything titillating, especially with Vidya in the middle of it all. Yes, there were workshops but that was to make us all familiar with each other, not to get passionate!" CHECK OUT: Is Vidya being biased for THE DIRTY PICTURE?
Did Vidya feel offensive about such rumours making the rounds?
"On the contrary she was quite amused with such talks," says Tusshar. "She is quite a sporting person and is also a lot of fun. Prior to coming together for this film, I had barely exchanged a 'hi' and 'hello' with her. I know though that she is a fabulous performer. The USP of the film is her playing Silk so I am looking forward to the audience's reaction to her character."
