Anubhav: I have put 6 years of my life into RA.ONE!

When the first print ad of RA.ONE was revealed on New Year, question marks were raised about the blue plasma tone of G.ONE played by Shah Rukh himself. Subsequently the first teaser aired during ICC Cricket world cup was once again viewed with a lot of skepticism and the wisdom of such an early promo. The net world was abuzz with 'copy of Spiderman, Superman, Batman...' and every conceivable superhero. Later RA.ONE became a 'copy' of ROBOT and the story continues!

We remember having run into Anubhav Sinha during the Osian's Cinefan 2008, where he first told us the exclusive details about the project during a one-to- one interaction. At that time there was absolutely nothing much known about ROBOT and the script of RA.ONE was very much in place.

The film is now complete and quite on the same lines as Anubhav had told us. As RA.ONE nears release the buzz is huge and the hype associated with it unprecedented. So what does Anubhav Sinha, the man who is the CPU of RA.ONE (but still shies away from the limelight), feel?

''I have put six years of my life and total dedication into RA.ONE as I wanted to keep my entire focus on RA.ONE, the most important project of my life. But unfortunately no one seems to have noticed that. It was not that I was not getting any outside offers. Even directors who have given six to seven flops in a row are in circulation! But that does not matter now, the film is complete and very much like what we had conceived from day one. I am very much thankful to Shah Rukh Khan for providing me with all the financial as well as moral support, at times even double of what I had asked for!''

Well, given the chart topping 'Chammak Challo', the popular 'Dildara' and the getting noticed, 'Criminal', and not to forget the international quality VFX and the intrinsic merits plus the fact that SRK is returning to silver screen after a gap of almost one and a half years, we are sure that RA.ONE is all set for humongous weekend and a stable run once the holidays are over.
