Even though DABANGG 2 was in news for the entire year gone by, there were apprehensions around it seeing the light of the day any soon. After all, Salman was dedicated to EK THA TIGER as well as KICK with SHER KHAN on the anvil too. Even though Arbaaz had declared quite some time back that he was ready with the script, the queue for getting Salman's dates was so long that despite being a family member even he had to keep his fingers crossed.
"Yes, we were actually supposed to begin DABANGG 2 only towards middle of next year and had our eyes set on Eid 2013 release," reveals Arbaaz, "Bhai was committed to some other films and we had quite some time in hand before we brought the film on floors. However the good part is that we had the core material in place and it was just the matter of getting a go ahead in terms of getting infrastructure in place. The moment Salman said that he was ready to allocate dates from March for DABANGG 2, my production team was on the job to put together everything so that our shooting gets through in a jiffy."
Now Arbaaz and his team can well be expected to pull up their socks since there would be just nine months between the kick-start of film's shooting schedule to the eventual release of the film. Since DABANGG 2 is not going to be any ordinary affair and would arrive with massive expectations, Arbaaz and his team would be required to plan everything quite meticulously so that the film's making takes place with clockwork precision. CHECK OUT: Salman's DABANGG 2 to release in Christmas 2012
"Yes, these would be busy days ahead but I am confident that eventually we would be able to pull it off comfortably," says Arbaaz with an air of assurance around his voice, "In fact as we talk, work has already begun on music that would be composed by Sajid-Wajid. Since our script is already locked, that's one big relief as we have to only spend time and effort on pre-production of the film."
With Sonakshi Sinha as the leading lady and Prakash Raj as the main villain, DABANGG 2 is all set for Christmas 2012 release.
