Pankaj Kapur's directorial debut MAUSAM has given him an opportunity to take a closer look at Shahid Kapoor's acting talent. Though the veteran actor is immensely excited about his film, at the same time his worry about Shahid's talent being underused makes him sad at times.
Throwing more light on this concern, Pankaj Kapur says, "I always knew that Shahid is a great actor but with MAUSAM I have realized the extent to which he can perform. Looking at his act in the film I have come to the conclusion that Shahid's talent has not been fully exploited. The truth is that Shahid's talent has been underused. My belief now is that once my film MAUSAM releases, everyone, including the filmmakers who love to work with Shahid, will get an idea how more is there to this actor than they had thought earlier."
Shahid on his part is equally excited about his act in the film which according to him has always been his dream role.
