LOOT  is all set for release this November and Mahakshay Chakravorty, who would be seen in the film again after the success of HAUNTED, has special words reserved for his co-actor Suniel Shetty (who is also the producer of the film) who mentored him in a big way when chips were down for him after JIMMY. In fact such was the kind of support that Shetty lent to Mahakshay that when it comes to some notable punch-lines in a particular scene, he would insist with director Rajneesh Thakur that they go to Mahakshay instead of him.

"Yes, there were instances when he would just stand in the background and allow me to drive the scene all by myself," Mahakshay smiles, "He used to cut his lines and give them to me. Tell me, how many actors would do that, whether senior or junior? Now that the film is ready for release, I am so happy to find myself in a multi starrer setup like this. After a horror like HAUNTED, it is good to explore comic genre with LOOT."

Not many are aware that LOOT is a film that Mahakshay had signed before HAUNTED 3D and Shetty had shown trust in the youngster when not many were willing to place bets on him.

Says Mahakshay, "Even though I didn't dare walk up to him and ask him whether I was an equal on the sets or in the film, he assured and then further reassured me that I was one of the main leads in the film. He told me in no uncertain terms that even though the film had senior actors like him, Govinda and Javed Jaffrey, I didn't have to worry about my role and screen time because he would ensure everyone gets equal footage."

Well, we hope this is indeed true when this film with Hansika Motwani and Shweta Bhardwaj as the leading ladies releases all over on 4th November.
