One of the finest finds of recent times, Pitobash Tripathy, has made his mark in almost all the films that he has acted in. Be it a fleeting appearance in Rajkumar Hirani's 3 IDIOTS, his breathtaking performance in National Award winner I AM KALAM or his brilliantly spontaneous act in Krishna DK's SHOR IN THE CITY, for which he also won the Screen Award for best comedian.
Even though he is working in many films, we were still quite curious to know what Pitobash is up to in Shirish Kunder's much talked about JOKER, as not much is known about the Akshay Kumar-Sonakshi Sinha starrer. And he gave us an interesting insight into his character, and the hard work that the dedicated and passionate actor has put in into the role.
He told us, "I play one of the principal roles in JOKER and have used prosthetic make-up. It used to take almost two hours to put on the make-up, and a lot of time to take it off. The rest of the cast members had it easier," discloses a smiling Pitobash. He continues, "But I don't mind it at all as the effort has been worth it (once you see the film you will realize it for yourself)."
Certainly, it goes without saying that whatever role Pitobash portrays he always puts his heart and soul in it, as is evident from his previous films, and we know that the effort that he has put in JOKER will be worth its weight in gold.
