When it comes to multi-starrers, there are certain leading men with whom Akshay Kumar is working repeatedly. John Abraham was seen with him very recently in DESI BOYZ while he and Riteish are coming together again after HEYY BABYY and HOUSEFULL. With such co-stars on board with whom he shares a great comfort level both on and off the screen, one can expect quite some improvisation to have come into play.
'Well, all I can say is that I am Akshay Hariom 'Improvisation' Kumar. After all, 'improvisation' is my middle name and with Riteish and John around, it only makes the entire exercise all the more fun,' smiles Akshay.
Now that the film is all set to release, one is tempted to quiz Akshay on his expectations from the film. After all, HOUSEFULL 2 is coming at a time when out and out 'masala' films are ruling the roost. A film with Sajid Khan and Sajid Nadiadwala at this juncture of his career couldn't have been better timed.
''I feel like it is time indeed,'' says Akshay, ''It has been a whole year since I had my comedy shoes on and that's a long time for my funny bone to have not tickled anyone. I have been a good actor over the years; I have branched out and done roles that have allowed different facets of mine on display. I have listened to my directors and given them what they want. Now it's time for me to just make people laugh again.''
He adds on a parting note, ''If it works then that's ultimate, fantastic; if it doesn't then I shall turn to my director, point a big fat finger and say 'Not even you can help me through this dark time'. He in turn, will point an even fatter finger and say 'I will be back'.''
For everyone's sake and especially the industry, one hopes that this doesn't really turn out to be the case when HOUSEFULL 2 releases all over tomorrow.
