Where more and more actresses are turning to item numbers and deem it as a best tool to make headlines or grab eyeballs here's one actress who prefers to stay away from it. Well surprising as it may sound but Bollywood actress Asin doesn't like being tagged as 'item girl'

Asked Asin if she would be interested in doing an item number much like her contemporaries and she revealed, ''I love song and dances. I am trained Bharat Natyam dancer and I also know Indian folk dancing. But talking about item numbers I really don't like that tag, though I love to do dance in Bollywood movies. Having said that, it's a lovely part of Indian Cinema.''

CHECK OUT: Asin 'Ready' to follow Vidya's 'Kahaani'!

For now, Asin is looking forward to her upcoming release HOUSEFULL 2, where she is paired opposite Akshay Kumar.
